Jolawn Victor, the former vice president and country manager of Intuit UK, has been appointed as the chief growth officer at London-based FinTech company GoCardless. Victor, who has experience with companies like PepsiCo and Headspace, will lead GoCardless’ global Growth Group, focusing on SME customer acquisition, incremental revenue growth, and brand marketing and communications. Her appointment is part of a broader strategy to drive growth at GoCardless, which has recently made significant strides in the open banking space and plans to acquire account-to-account payment company Nuapay. Other recent leadership additions include a new chief people officer, head of corporate development, and ex-SAP executive Franck Cohen as the first chair of the board. Paul Stoddart, president at GoCardless, noted that Victor’s expertise in growth marketing and international expansion would be invaluable as the company pursues ambitious growth plans.
