Audax Private Equity has announced a strategic minority recapitalization of its portfolio company FDH Aero. The transaction was led by NB Capital Solutions and includes funds advised by Neuberger Berman becoming significant minority investors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. FDH Aero, a major supplier of c-class components in the aerospace and defense sectors, operates globally and employs over 1,200 people. Since Audax’s initial investment in 2017, FDH has significantly increased its revenue and market presence through both acquisitions and organic growth. The new equity investment is expected to fuel further expansion. Financial advising for the transaction was provided by Jefferies and Harris Williams, while legal advice was rendered by Kirkland & Ellis for Audax and Latham & Watkins for NB Capital Solutions.
