In a significant development for the real estate industry, the Pinellas REALTOR Organization (PRO/CPRO) and Greater Tampa REALTORS (GTR) have announced a merger to form Tampa Bay REALTORS, creating the third-largest local REALTOR association in Florida and the sixth-largest in the nation. The merger, pending NAR approval, will serve over 24,000 real estate professionals across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. The unification highlights the growth and integration of the Tampa Bay area, the 17th largest metropolitan region in the U.S. The new organization aims to provide enhanced training, advocacy, and services to its members while maintaining participation in Stellar MLS. The merged entity will be led by Co-CEOs David Bennett and Jason Outman, leveraging their extensive experience to benefit the association’s members and the broader community.
