Funds advised by Triton Partners, along with co-investors, have signed an agreement to sell Blitz LuxCo Sarl, the holding company of Bormioli Pharma Group, to Gerresheimer. Bormioli Pharma Group, a significant player in the pharmaceutical packaging sector, has undergone considerable transformation under Triton’s ownership since 2017. Triton and co-investors’ enhancement strategies included management changes, organizational restructuring, technological upgrades, and strategic acquisitions. With annual sales of over EUR 370 million and operations in more than 100 countries, Bormioli now stands as a leading entity in the sector. The transaction, expected to close in the fourth quarter of the year, is subject to regulatory approvals. BNP Paribas and Goldman Sachs International acted as M&A financial advisors in the deal.
