Nasittuq Corporation has announced the appointment of Chris Webb as its new President, effective June 3, 2024. Webb will succeed Jody Langelier, who is retiring after a distinguished 35-year career. Webb transitions to Nasittuq from the Nunatsiavut Group of Companies, where he served as President and CEO since 2016. During his tenure at NGC, Webb played a pivotal role in strategic planning, business mergers, acquisitions, and reorganization, while ensuring quality and service excellence. Webb’s initial career steps began at Nasittuq, advancing from trainee to multiple senior managerial roles. His return comes at a promising time as Nasittuq secures key contracts like the North Warning System and CFS Alert and prepares for NORAD Modernization projects. Webb holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from Saint Mary’s University and an Executive Leadership Development Program Certificate jointly from Queen’s and Cornell Universities.
