Lars Bo Bertram has been appointed as the new CEO of IFU, leading an executive team that includes Deputy CEO Sren Peter Andreasen and CIO Lars Krogsgaard. The Danish government has committed to more than doubling IFU’s capital from DKK 15bn to around DKK 35bn by 2030, facilitated through increased capital contributions, access to the central government re-lending scheme, and the establishment of the Danish SDG Investment Fund II. IFU is positioning itself to further contribute to the green transition and societal improvements in developing countries. The Danish SDG Investment Fund, launched in 2018, has already made significant impacts, including healthcare access for 1.2 million people in Africa and is now fully invested. Fundraising efforts for the Danish SDG Investment Fund II are underway.
