The acquisition integrates more than 25 leading brands into ECAL’s portfolio and adds eight million users to its platform. This move cements ECAL’s position as a global leader in the calendar marketing industry. ECAL’s CEO, Patrick Barrett, emphasized that the acquisition will offer users direct access to their preferred brands and events via synced calendars, while providing businesses robust tools for engagement and consumer insights. The deal also boosts ECAL’s presence in the US, complementing its strong holds in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Europe. With 24 million users globally and 15 billion data points managed monthly, ECAL is poised to leverage its data acquisition capabilities to serve its expanding clientele, which includes major sports leagues and media outlets.
