The newly acquired facilities, DSM1 and DSM2, mark Cologix’s first venture into the Des Moines market as the company commits to enhancing colocation and interconnection services in the region. DSM1, located at 666 Walnut Street in Des Moines, includes 4,000 square feet of space and an additional 10,000 square feet for future expansion. It connects to over 25 unique networks. DSM2, based in Cedar Falls, Iowa, spans 12,500 square feet with expansion capabilities, offering low-latency routing options to major cities including Des Moines, Chicago, Omaha, and Minneapolis. Cologix has also secured land in Des Moines to further increase capacity, aligning with its growth strategy to meet rising customer demands.
