Terracon, a leading engineering consulting firm based in Olathe, Kansas, has announced the acquisition of Rhode Island-based SAGE Environmental and SAGE EnviroTech Drilling Services. SAGE specializes in environmental services, including assessment, remediation, permitting, and regulatory compliance, and will continue to operate under the name SAGE Environmental, A Terracon Company, and SAGE EnviroTech Drilling Services, A Terracon Company. The acquisition will bolster Terracon’s presence in the Northeast, integrating SAGE’s 33 employees into its operations in Connecticut and the Metro Boston area. The transaction marks Terracon’s 22nd acquisition since 2017 and was facilitated by Matheson Financial Advisors. The move is expected to enhance service offerings and provide new opportunities for clients in the region.
