Kelvin, a Paris-based software platform, has raised €5 million in its first fundraising round to expand its AI-driven home energy renovation services. Founded in 2023 by Clementine Lalande, Guillaume Semp, and Pierre Joly, Kelvin leverages artificial intelligence and computer vision to assess and recommend energy-efficient renovations for residential buildings. Backed by Seedcamp and other investors, the company aims to significantly improve the energy performance of homes in France, contributing to the country’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. Kelvin’s technology provides remote energy performance evaluations and tailored renovation recommendations, already gaining traction among contractors and real estate agencies. The fundraising involved notable participants like Racine, Raise Capital, Kima Ventures, Motier Ventures, and several business angels.
