NTT DATA Business Solutions AG, a division of NTT DATA, has acquired a majority stake in Hyderabad-based ProvenTech Pvt Ltd, a company specializing in GenAI-driven Quality Management and Manufacturing solutions for the Pharma, Healthcare, and Food industries. The acquisition aims to bolster NTT DATA’s expertise in the Pharma/Life Sciences sectors by leveraging ProvenTech’s unique portfolio, which includes proprietary SaaS solutions, SAP S/4HANA, and other enterprise software. ProvenTech, which will operate as an independent subsidiary under the brand name ‘ProvenTech, an NTT DATA Company,’ brings over 350 skilled professionals to NTT DATA’s workforce and expands its service offerings in critical manufacturing and quality processes. The acquisition aligns with NTT DATA’s strategic vision to enhance its SAP ERP offerings and broaden its market presence in India and the APAC region, especially within the Pharma/Life Sciences sectors. Additionally, this strategic move is set to optimize cross-selling opportunities and extend the global reach of both companies.
