BKM Capital Partners has recently acquired Columbia Commerce Park, a 375,429 square feet light industrial property in Portland’s Airport submarket. This acquisition marks BKM’s fourth for 2024 and is part of an aggressive buying strategy aimed at strengthening its position in the industrial sector. Originally put up for sale in 2022 and later withdrawn due to market volatility, the property was sold to BKM in an off-market deal. Led by CEO Brian Malliet and Managing Director Mason Waite, BKM plans a comprehensive $3 million capital improvement project. Enhancements will include upgrades to structural elements, HVAC systems, and landscaping, aimed at transforming the site into a premier location for tenants near Portland International Airport and Downtown Portland.
