The Supervisory Board of Mutares Management SE has announced the appointment of two new members to its Management Board, effective July 1, 2024, reflecting the company’s ambitious growth and expansion strategy. Johannes Laumann, who previously served as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) from 2019 to 2023, will return to the same role after a sabbatical. Laumann, known for his contributions to Mutares’ growth, will oversee the group’s M&A activities and internationalization. Additionally, Dr. Lennart Schley, who has been with Mutares for 14 years and recently served as Segment Head, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dr. Schley will manage the operational aspects of Mutares’ portfolio companies. Both appointments are seen as crucial steps toward achieving Mutares’ growth targets and expanding into international markets such as China, India, and the USA. The Supervisory Board and founder, Robin Laik, expressed confidence in the new team to steer Mutares towards continued success.
