AMPIN Energy Transition, a renewable energy firm based in Delhi, has announced its plans to set up a 246-MW wind-solar hybrid project with a substantial investment of Rs 1,300 crore. Funded through a combination of debt and equity, this pan-India project marks AMPIN’s fourth hybrid venture under the SECI’s tranche-8 hybrid bid. The project will contribute to the firm’s hybrid utility portfolio, which now stands at 1.75 GW. Scheduled for completion within 24 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the project is indicative of AMPIN’s leadership in India’s renewable energy sector. The PPA will be executed for 25 years with SECI.
