Heidi, a fast-growing online tour operator specializing in flexible ski holidays, has raised £5.6 million in a recent funding round led by Mercia Ventures, with contributions from Active Partners and private investors. The Bristol-based company will use the funds to enhance their technology platform, expand customer service teams, and create over 20 new jobs within the next year. Founded in 2018 by brothers Marcus and Alexander Blunt, Heidi allows customers to create bespoke ski vacation packages with unparalleled flexibility. The company has seen its revenue grow from £8.8 million in 2022 to £37 million in 2024, making it the third largest UK ski holiday operator. Alongside the funding, Mercia Ventures has introduced new leadership to the team, including Sarah Doyle as Chair, and Miles Hill and Michael Rivis as Non-executive Directors. Heidi’s sophisticated platform and customer-centric approach have positioned it as a market leader, with ambitions to double its size in the coming years.
