Gendo, an innovative AI platform aimed at revolutionizing the architectural design process, has secured £855,000 in pre-seed funding. The funding round was led by Concept Ventures and joined by Ascension Ventures, Baobab Ventures, and several industry-specific angel investors. Gendo’s platform employs generative AI models and machine learning to convert 2D sketches, drawings, or text prompts into detailed visualizations almost instantaneously. This significantly reduces the time and expense traditionally associated with architectural rendering. Notable architecture firms like Zaha Hadid Architects and KPF are already utilizing Gendo’s beta platform. Founded by George Proud and Will Jones, Gendo aims to continue refining its technology and further integrate with the architectural community.
