Peter Burke TD, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, announced that Binarii Labs, a developer of data security solutions, has secured €400,000 in funding from Enterprise Ireland’s High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) program. This funding brings the total raised by the company to €3 million. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Dublin’s NovaUCD, Binarii Labs plans to create over 100 new jobs in Ireland by 2027, expanding its capabilities in deep tech research and development, data security, and other areas. Binarii Labs aims to grow internationally, commercializing its BinariiDSP data security platform, which employs cutting-edge technologies like Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology. The firm, co-founded by Steven Garner, Nigel Carter, Aidan Finn, and Ciarán McNamee, focuses on enabling enterprises to retain sovereign ownership of their data, offering high-level security and transparency. The funding will support the company’s R&D and market expansion efforts.
