Jazz has announced the appointment of Farrukh Khan, the CEO & Managing Director of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and CEO of Micro-Finance Holdings (MFH), effective September 15th, 2024. Khan brings over 30 years of leadership experience in financial institutions including roles at Acumen Fund, BMA Capital Management, and American Express. He will also join the board of Mobilink Microfinance Bank. The outgoing CFO, Gbor Kocsis, will stay with Jazz until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition. Jazz is transitioning from a traditional mobile telecommunications company to a broader ServiceCo, with ventures in financial services, software development, data centers & cloud solutions, and entertainment. This includes fintech platform JazzCash, cloud offerings with Garaj, and digital streaming service Tamasha. The company has projected a compound annual growth rate of over 20% and aims to double its revenue by 2027.
