Brazilian SaaS startup BemAgro has raised a $2.6 million pre-Series A round to further develop its AI-powered agriculture and forest management platform. The funding round was led by CNH Industrial, Suzano Ventures, and ATVOS, following an earlier $1.8 million round. BemAgro’s platform uses image processing and AI to optimize crop monitoring and management, primarily focused on commodities like corn, soybeans, cotton, and sugarcane. The company plans to expand into the forestry sector, leveraging Suzano Ventures’ expertise and resources. BemAgro aims to monitor 10 million hectares of land by 2032, targeting entry into the North American and European markets by 2026.
