Trudell Medical Limited has entered into an agreement to acquire the RDx business unit of Vyaire Medical, a company known for manufacturing respiratory diagnostic products used widely in hospitals and private clinics. The acquisition is subject to court approval and is expected to finalize within 8 to 12 weeks. This strategic move will enable Trudell Medical to expand its presence in the respiratory healthcare market by adding diagnostic capabilities to its existing portfolio of aerosol medication delivery devices and pulmonary health solutions. Trudell plans to operate RDx as a separate business unit, maintaining its operations in Germany and California. Earlier in the year, Vyaire Medical filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and intended to sell its business units to stable and well-capitalized buyers. The deal would ensure continuity of service to RDx’s customers, and it reflects the shared values and commercial goals of both companies.
