VividQ, a Cambridge-based innovator in computational holography, has raised $5.7 million in Series A funding. This funding round, led by Foresight Group LLP and joined by investors like GameTech Ventures and Ruttenberg Gordon Investments, elevates the company’s total funding to over $30 million. The new investment will facilitate VividQ’s ambitions to productise its holographic displays and expand its footprint in the US market. According to VividQ’s CEO, Darran Milne, the company’s technology is set to redefine human-machine interaction and solve critical technical challenges faced by major brands in delivering consumer-grade immersive experiences. The company plans to hire a US lead and open an office in the US next year. VividQ already has partnerships with industry leaders like JVCKenwood and major U.S. companies in display and automotive technology, positioning itself as a key player in the growing spatial computing market.
