Accenture has acquired consus.health, a German healthcare management consultancy with around 140 staff, bolstering its capabilities in the healthcare sector. consus.health, founded in 2012, is recognized as one of Germany’s leading management consultancies in the healthcare industry, advising over 600 healthcare providers and hospitals. This acquisition aligns with Accenture’s strategy to provide end-to-end services in the expanding healthcare market. Following the acquisition, consus.health will join Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting division. Christina Raab, market unit lead for Accenture in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, emphasized that the new expertise will enhance Accenture’s ability to help healthcare organizations on their digital transformation journeys. This deal follows other related acquisitions by Accenture, such as Intellera Consulting, ConcentricLife, and Nautilus Consulting, as well as the recent purchases of Parsionate and Vocatus in Germany.
