Tilt, a shopping platform founded by early Revolut employees Neil Shah and Abhi Thanendran, has raised £14 million in Series A funding to advance its mission of transforming the e-commerce experience. The platform, which integrates real-time interactions and community engagement, aims to build a leading fashion super app. This latest round of investment was led by Balderton Capital, with additional participation from TQ Ventures, Earlybird, and Seedcamp. Tilt’s innovative approach includes live streams, instant deals, auctions, and interactive events, and it has already amassed over half a million users in its first year. The funding will support the platform’s scaling, team expansion, and community engagement initiatives. CEO Abhi Thanendran emphasized the importance of this support in scaling the platform and enhancing user experience. Neil Shah highlighted their vision of creating the most vibrant community in live commerce worldwide. Balderton Capital partner Daniel Waterhouse noted Tilt’s rapid user growth and innovative community engagement as key drivers of their success.
