Nexteq plc, a Cambridge-based supplier of displays for the gaming and industrial sectors, has appointed Duncan Faithfull as its new CEO amid significant leadership changes. The appointment follows the previous announcements by CEO Jon Jayal, CFO Johan Olivier, and non-executive chair Francis Small of their intention to step down. Small has been temporarily replaced by founding director and deputy chair Nick Jarmany, while Jayal will remain as an employee in a consulting role until the end of 2024 to ensure a smooth transition. Nexteq, listed on London’s AIM market, experienced a share price drop earlier this year due to these departures and lower-than-expected FY24 revenue and profit forecasts. However, its stock has since shown recovery. Faithfull, who has over 30 years of experience in commercial leadership roles, joined Nexteq in 2020 to lead its Quixant division.
