Nofar Energy has secured a EUR 122 million term loan and VAT facility agreement arranged by Clifford Chance for the development, construction, and operation of two significant solar photovoltaic plants in Giurgiu County, Romania. The loan involves financing from the EBRD and Raiffeisen International. Clifford Chance previously assisted Nofar Energy with EPC and O&M Agreements for these plants, which collectively boast a capacity of 315 megawatts. Clifford Chance’s advisory team was led by Partners Nadia Badea and Madalina Rachieru-Postolache, with support from Senior Associate Oana Ionascu and Associate Adelina Seserman.
