International private equity firm Cinven has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire Finaxy Group from Ardian. Finaxy, a prominent French multi-specialist insurance broker led by Founder and CEO Erick Berville, has experienced significant growth through a successful buy-and-build strategy that includes over 30 acquisitions. Cinven aims to leverage its Strategic Financials Fund to drive further growth in Finaxy, focusing on M&A activities in the fragmented French market. The transaction will see Finaxy’s management reinvest alongside Cinven. Financial terms remain confidential, and regulatory approvals are pending.
