Monda, a data monetization platform, has raised $5 million in seed funding led by Senovo and Acrobator Ventures, with participation from Techstars. The capital will be used to expand operations in the US, grow its partner ecosystem, and enhance its platform to facilitate data monetization for companies of all sizes. Founded as a spin-off from Datarade by Thani Shamsi and Richard Hoffmann, Monda’s software is already used by over 150 DaaS companies and has built integrations with major cloud platforms like Google Cloud, Databricks, and SAP. The company plans to open its first US office in Boston to better serve North American customers, who account for 50% of its customer base. Monda’s platform differentiates itself through ease of use, a comprehensive SaaS approach, and high-quality customer service. The new funding will also support further development of data integrations, unstructured data products, and regulatory compliance features.
